  Went in for routine gastroscopy/colonoscopy. Was very impressed with the efficiency of all the staff – admin, nursing, doctors. Staff were very kind and kept a good eye on you. The atmosphere was calm, friendly and professional. Everything went like clockwork. The hospital is easy to access by car without having to negotiate difficult roads.

  I felt the doctor was very patronising and even offered me an overnight stay as if I was looking for a night away from home. The doctor said to me on discharge -happy new year, nice to meet you and dont party too hard - I felt so unwell and so short of breath as I felt on admission and I felt he thought I was an anxious hypochondriac - I was advised to see the cardiologist and seek further tests.

  I attended emergency with shortness of breath which I had experienced for 8 days - the cardiology group I attend was closed till 3rd January and I did attend a doctors surgery while away

  The nursing staff were very good and I had thorough tests and the doctor kept telling me I have 100% oxygen as good as a marathon runner but I could not do basic life without feeling breathless when a few months ago I was on the treadmill and doing personal training but the monitor was saying all was well.

  I just felt he could of been more sensitive even though the tests were all ok
